This was one of the neatest things that I've done so far! Naomi, Kevin, and took a ferry out to Rangitoto (a volcanic island) and hiked all the way up to the volcano's summit. It was actually really tiring, but really interesting. We got to see the crater of the volcano, and we also looked at a few lava caves on the island. After doing all of this, I had to figure out the public transport system, and find a bus to ride back to my host family. In the end, I found my house okay and was able to get home! =)

That is so neat, your hike looks wonderful and the countryside is beautiful. Glad to see you made it home. The festival looks interesting too. Did this make the children even wilder? Weather here has turned cold again, what is your weather like?
ReplyDeleteThe kids were actually pretty good, it wasn't my class, it was the older kids. Our weather is really warm, like 70s, I can't believe Indiana is cold again! =)
